Heavy Rain, 2012, 48x96 inches.Heavy Rain is one of three large-scale pieces that will be exhibited from April 5-May 19 at Zeitgeist Gallery in Nashville. These images grew from the experience of passing through the plains of the Midwest for the first time, seeing the ground meet the vast sky.

This week I was fortunate to see my good friend Lee Walker, of Firewalker Gallery in beautiful Marshall, NC. He stopped by the studio to pick up a few paintings that will be available there for the next few months. Marshall has been sort of a home away from home for us for several years, and even though we haven't been able to travel there much lately, I am happy to be sending some paintings there in my place! If you are in the Asheville area, take a few minutes to visit Marshall...it is a well-kept secret and a jewel of a place in the mountains.
